Bertie can be a bit smelly! When he trumps it makes his mum cross, embarrasses his dad, upsets his gran and offends his sister. But they all have a secret, and Bertie knows it! This hilarious book with trumping noises will delight all children with its wonderfully naughty noise!
Another picture book featuring the popular children's character Dirty Bertie. However this one also features a noisy button which children will love to press at any opportunity!
I know when my children were growing up, any mention of pooh or the sound of trumping would have my children, and their friends, in fits of giggles. This book would be perfect for them as it is full of both! Who knew there were so many words for the action - but David Roberts has included plenty in the story - leading to plenty of opportunities to press the trump button.
This picture book has lots of fantastic illustrations throughout the story and they all capture the mischievous Bertie at his best.
It would make a great book to share at story time or even bedtime - however be prepared for lots of giggles and the request for the book to be read again and again. I would say that this book would be suitable for all ages of children, and make a great introduction to Dirty Bertie and his family, before children graduate onto the chapter books.
This book would make a great gift, and with the noisy button, it would be that extra special book to share with others.
